WANTED - The Gunner

WANTED by Sapateiro Boutique Winery is a series of wines that I decided to make that don’t necessarily represent the region where I am in.

The concept behind the labels is a pirate crew that steals wines – those are their treasures. Each person on the crew will have his own wine. For now, I am releasing the first two wines.

This wine in particular was a wine that I made with two newly planted varieties in our vineyard and with a little bit of my favorite from the region. The varieties are: Moscatel Galego, Gewurztraminer, and Avesso – this latter in particular was aged in oak, while the first two weren’t.

The result is this wine: an exuberant white wine, delicate and fresh, which we made 549 bottles.
